`Fashion Fusion’ Charity Event …

On Saturday, 28th October 2006, Advocates Pharmaceutical & Healthcare Specialists held a Black Tie, Gala Dinner & Fashion Event with drinks reception sponsored by Diageo.  This Red Carpet Affair was held at `Our Dynamic Earth’, Holyrood, set in the heart of Edinburgh situated next to Holyrood Palace and the Royal Mile and attracted over 250 people from all around the U.K, Australia, Denmark & Finland, to wear their finery and to help raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.

During the evening collections from Your M&S, 21st Century Kilts, Boudiche Exquisite Lingerie & Asimi Contemporary Jewellery were exhibited on the catwalk, complimented by interludes of dance performed by Nigel Anderson & Taina Kortelainen (UK, USA & Finnish dance champions) and 21st Century Dance Academy.  This was followed by a musical performance by Bobby Mitchell of Wolfsound Productions.   Dancing until the small hours to music by the U.K’s top D.J Dance Demon then brought this fabulous evening to a close.

The fashion show itself was a work of art, and one of the best fashion shows I’ve seen including those from the lingerie industry at Paris Lingerie Trade shows.  The capes Angelina had especially made for the models to wear with the lingerie worked fantastically, and the audience reaction supported this.   We were proud to be part of the event, and would not hesitate to support another event in future.
